“This small painting features a piece of lovely Amate paper (thank you Daniel Smith Art Supplies). It is beautiful in its own right, so I wanted some with no paint covering it. It also creates beautiful texture when overlaid with paint. This painting also features some visual texture that is stamped on. The title is almost corny. See the piano keys? But, I relate music with art and feel a shared experience with musicians.”
